The charge for advertising in the O.W. Record is £100 for a full-page (A5) and £50 for a half page. The magazine has a circulation of nearly 4,000. If anyone is interested in advertising their companies or services, please contact the Editor as soon as possible on development@wrekincollege.ac.uk

Any advertising copy would be required by August 1st for the Autumn edition and by January 1st for the Spring edition.

Alicia Crone is currently in the Clarkson House Upper Sixth Form.  She is the daughter of the Deputy Bursar and the Housemistress of Roslyn House.

Alicia is hoping to study French and Spanish at University after a Gap year.  She has asked if there are any Old Wrekinians who would be able to help Alicia with her Gap year in any capacity.

AT LAST (AFTER 50 YEARS) – OW BLAZERS

Details for obtaining your OW Blazer (before the rest!).  The material is superb and ready for making-up.

FIRST:  Send me a cheque for £50 for the material!  (Made payable to me as I’ve paid for it!)

SECOND:  Ring JOHN MEARS 01922 476930 to place your order.  He is at: R.H. MEARS Ltd – and now has the material - 10 Harrison Street, Bloxwich, Walsall WS3 3HP

Directions: Leave M6 Junction 11 towards Walsall.  After say 2 miles turn left signed Bloxwich.  At T junctions traffic lights in Bloxwich you turn left, and although Harrison Street is 2nd on the right, it is one way against you, so turn first right and then wind your way into Harrison Street.  Number 10 is then on the left about 100 yards before you are back on the main road.

I’ve agreed a making-up price of £38 plus VAT.  Please settle that with John Mears.  The manufactured amount of material is limited so don’t waste time – it is very much first come (i.e. £50 to me) first served!  However I have already had a second roll produced.
